Paso Robles police arrest second suspect in Trevon Perry murder
Paso Robles police on Tuesday arrested a second suspect accused of being involved in the murder of Trevon Perry, a missing man whose remains were likely found last week.
Vivianna Rodriguez, 24, of Paso Robles was taken into custody on suspicion of being an accessory to Perry’s murder, according to a Paso Robles Police Department news release.
Perry disappeared in mid-March, when he was last seen leaving a get-together with friends. Paso Robles police in May said they believed Perry may have been a victim of foul play.
On Friday, police announced they located human remains they believe belong to Perry in a Riverside home.
Before he went missing, Perry testified in a December 2019 preliminary hearing against 26-year-old Kejuan Bynum, who’s accused of fatally stabbing 23-year-old Cristopher Vento Wilson.
Rodriguez is the second suspect taken into custody for allegedly being involved in Perry’s death. Police on Monday arrested 23-year-old Nicholas Ron of Paso Robles on suspicion of murder.
Police anticipate additional arrests as the investigation into Perry’s disappearance and death continues, the release says.
Rodriguez was not listed in San Luis Obispo County Jail custody as of 6:50 p.m. Tuesday.
