Cambria Youth Athletic Association seeks recreation coordinator

The Cambria Youth Athletic Association is seeking an organized individual interested in youth sports to help arrange recreational activities, including soccer.

The CYAA needs a person to schedule field use, create teams from youths who sign up to play, solicit sponsorships and arrange for team uniforms.

This person will also administer sign-ups for all CYAA sports.

The CYAA is also organizing a scarecrow-building workshop for kids in Cambria.

The workshop will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at the Cambria Grammar School.

And CYAA is inviting kids who are interested in local sports to ride on the CYAA float in the Pinedorado Parade.
