Coast Union athletes rake in fall postseason awards

Now that football and volleyball seasons are finished, it is Coast Valley League awards time for Coast Union student athletes.

The Broncos football players who received all-league awards for defense include:

Jimmy Welch (first team), Lane Sutherland (first team), Roberto Quintero (second team), Asher Armstrong (second team), Jack MacKinnon (second team), and Will Azevedo (honorable mention).

Broncos honored by the CVL for their offensive skills include:

Alam Ramirez (first team), Octavio Villalvazo (first team), Jack MacKinnon (second team), Asher Armstrong (second team), Warren Smith (second team), and Alexis Mireles (honorable mention).

Coast Union volleyball players receiving CVL awards included Xue DiMaggio (most valuable player), Janelle Bohey (first team), Gigi Stoothoff (first team), Reagan Kniffen (second team), and Diana Cisneros (honorable mention).
