A tractor crashed into the guardrail in San Luis Obispo on Friday morning, causing expected traffic delays for several hours.

At 8:49 a.m., a large tractor collided with the guardrail on Buckley Road east of Vachell Lane, the California Highway Patrol posted on Facebook. The tractor appeared about halfway off the roadside in an image shared by the agency.

No injuries were reported, but the post said to “expect traffic delays for a couple hours while they recover the tractor and fix guardrail.”

Buckley Road was closed from Vachell Lane to the airport for an hour from 9:22 a.m. as public works worked in the area, the highway patrol posted on Facebook. Drivers were advised to choose alternate routes on either Tank Farm Road or Broad Street that avoid the crash area.

The road reopened at 10:25 a.m.
