Update, 10:28 a.m.:

Ruby Hamane, a 92-year-old woman who went missing Sunday night, was safely located around 9 a.m. on Monday, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Neighbors found her a short distance away from her Santa Margarita house in the 5600 block of Park Hill Road, the agency said.

Hamane received medical treatment on scene and was being reunited with her family Monday morning, the release said.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in Santa Margarita for an at-risk missing person on Sunday night.

Ruby Hamane, who lives in the 3400 block of Park Hill Road, was last seen on video at 6:20 p.m. walking away from her residence.

Hamane is 92 years old and has dementia. She has white hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds, according to the Sheriff’s Office news release.

Ruby was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and white shoes, on a surveillance video camera.

The Sheriff’s Office requests anyone living in the area to check their cameras after 6:20 p.m. for signs of Hamane, and anyone who has any information should call the Sheriff’s Office at 805-781-4550.
