Drivers will face traffic delays on a busy stretch of Highway 101 due to construction, according to the California Department of Transportation.

Caltrans is closing a section of the highway in Pismo Beach for “guardrail repair and replacement, the state road said in a news release.

Where is Highway 101 construction? When?

Caltrans will close the No. 2 right-hand lane of southbound Highway 101 between Spyglass Drive and a point close to Dinosaur Caves Park on Tuesday, April 14.

The closure will last from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. within this location, the state roads agency said.

How long will traffic by delayed?

“Travelers can expect delays not to exceed 20 minutes,” Caltrans said in the release.
