Original story:

A man went missing in Grover Beach, and his family and the police are asking for the public’s help finding him.

Brent Roger Paine, 46, was last seen Monday night around 6:30 p.m. at Guadalajara Market on South 13th Street and Trouville Avenue, according to a Facebook post by Sonja Grace in the SLO County News group.

Paine called his wife to let her know he was walking home, but he never arrived, the post said. His phone now appears to be off, which is out of character for Paine, the post said.

Paine was described as 5-foot-9 with a thin build, brown hair and eyes and a gray beard. He was last seen wearing jeans, a blue shirt, shoes and possibly a tan baseball cap.

Anyone with information was encouraged to contact Officer Howell at the Grover Beach Police Department at 805-473-4507, case #260404.
