Rollover crash backs up traffic on Highway 101 in SLO County

A car rolled over on northbound Highway 101 near Templeton, backing up traffic on Saturday.

At around 11:50 a.m., a man was reported climbing out of an overturned white Tesla, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident page.

According to Cal Fire spokesperson Eva Grady, two people sustained minor injuries after the car had rolled into a guard rail. Grady added that the department was assisted by the Templeton Fire Department.

The car sustained major damage, the incident page read.

While fire units have cleared the area, Grady said, traffic remained slow as of 12:30 p.m.
