A power outage cut off electricity to more than 3,000 PG&E customers in San Luis Obispo on Saturday morning.

According to PG&E’s outage report map, the power went out at 9:47 a.m.

The outage, which affected 3,095 customers, included much of downtown and extended to include the Johnson Avenue corridor down to Orcutt Road.

“This is an unplanned outage due to a storm. When able, our crews will inspect and make repairs,” PG&E said.

Power was restored to most customers by 2 p.m., according to the outage map, save for 89 people around Johnson Avenue and San Luis Drive.
