Here’s what to know:
When and where is road closure in Paso Robles?
A section of South River Road in Paso Robles will close to traffic from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, according to city officials.
The nearly mile-long road closure will be in place on South River Road between Creston Road and Navajo Avenue.
Drivers should prepare for some additional travel time while the closure is in place, Dante Pecchenino, a senior development review engineer for the city of Paso Robles, told The Tribune.
Which detours can I take to avoid construction?
While the closure is underway, drivers can take Niblick Road to Appaloosa Drive, according to the city of Paso Robles.
Message boards and temporary construction signage will be in place to alert travelers to the detour route during construction hours, Pecchenino said.
Why is SLO County road shut to traffic?
PG&E crews will be updating and replacing utility poles on the bluff beside South River Road in Paso Robles.
The construction work is part of PG&E’s Estrella Highline Project to reinforce power to the city and its residents, Pecchenino said.
