A crash in San Luis Obispo caused traffic on Highway 101 to stall Tuesday morning.

According to its traffic incident page, CHP received a report of a solo vehicle crash involving a gray sedan that hit a guardrail and the hillside at around 8:14 a.m just north of Monterey Street on northbound Highway 101.

The car crashed into the center divider wall and collided with the embankment before flipping sideways onto the right shoulder of the highway, according to the CHP page.

A tow truck was called to the to crash at 8:20 a.m., according to the CHP page.

The incident was slowing traffic around 8:30 a.m, though it appeared to clear by 8:50 a.m., according to CHP’s Quick Map.
