1,000 PG&E customers lose power in SLO County outage

A power outage cut off electricity to more than 1,000 San Luis Obispo County PG&E customers on Monday evening.
According to PG&E’s outage report map, 1,070 customers in Cayucos lost power at 5:18 p.m., encompassing a chunk of the town, mostly on the west side of Highway 1
“This is an unplanned outage,” PG&E said on its outage map. “Our crew shut off power to make an urgent repair safely.”
The outage, however, did not last long. According to PG&E’s map, it was resolved by 5:45 p.m.
