SLO County fire destroys trailer, burns vegetation
A fire near Santa Margarita engulfed and destroyed a trailer Saturday night before spreading to nearby vegetation.
Firefighters were dispatched to the vegetation fire off Parkhill Road and Huer Huero Road, discovering a single travel trailer fully involved, according to a post on X by Cal Fire.
The fire had spread, burning one acre of surrounding vegetation before firefighters stopped any forward progress, the post said.
According to the post, no one was injured and no other damages were reported.
It is unclear what started the vegetation fire and when the fire was contained.
