More than 2,100 PG&E customers lose electricity in SLO County power outage

A power outage cut off electricity to about 2,100 San Luis Obispo County PG&E customers on Thursday.

According to PG&E’s outage map, 2,169 customers near Avila Beach lost power around 10:24 a.m.

Power is expected to be restored at 7:30 p.m.

The utility company was investigating the cause of the power outage as of 11 a.m.
