Power out for more than 1,400 PG&E customers in SLO County

Power outage

Power was out for more than 1,400 customers in northeast San Luis Obispo County early Tuesday morning.

According to PG&E’s outage center, 1,412 customers lost power around 3 a.m. due to an unplanned outage.

The affected area spanned both sides of Highway 46 East from just after Jardine Road to the eastern edge of the county as of 10 a.m.

The outage also cut power from Shandon down to Highway 58, the outage center showed.

Power was estimated to be restored by 11 a.m.
