Looking to get married without the fuss of a big ceremony? The San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s Office can help.

As of July 1, the agency began offering “express marriages” where couples can be married quickly without a large ceremony.

“No frills, no fuss — just a simple but official ceremony at the counter in our office,” the agency said on Facebook.

The agency recommends couples to bring a witness, but it can also provide a witness for an additional fee, according to its website.

The agency still offers ceremonies in their “cozy marriage room” or on the rooftop as well, it said.

According to the agency’s website, express ceremonies can include the couple and up to three guests.

No appointment is necessary.
