Over 1,000 PG&E customers lost power in rural San Luis Obispo County Wednesday afternoon.
PG&E’s outage map showed two outages, both located near Santa Margarita in eastern SLO County.
One outage, reported around 2:13 p.m., was affecting 902 customers. The estimated restoration time was 10:30 p.m., the map showed, but power was restored by 3:30 p.m.
The other cut power for another 132 customers and was reported around 2:11 p.m, the map showed. The estimated restoration time was 11 p.m.
The map said a PG&E team was evaluating the cause of both outages and would work to get power restored safely.
