Motorcycle crash backs up traffic, blocks lane on Highway 101 in SLO County

A crash slowed traffic on northbound Highway 101 in Arroyo Grande on Friday afternoon.

The single-vehicle crash appeared to involve a motorcycle, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page.

The crash occurred on the highway near the N. Oak Park Blvd. overpass.

First responders received reports that the driver of the vehicle was down and in the center divider, and was transported to the hospital, the information page showed. One lane of the highway was closed.

As of 3 p.m. Friday, traffic was slow in both northbound lanes, Caltrans traffic cameras showed.
