Shandon Elementary School students and workers sheltered in place Friday afternoon after the school briefly went on lockdown.

The order came after a verbal argument escalated between two workers at a nearby winery, according to San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Tony Cipolla.

The lockdown was lifted as of 2:11 p.m., school authorities told The Tribune.
