Firefighters responded to a vegetation fire in rural Templeton on Friday afternoon.

According to the emergency response app PulsePoint, a fire sparked in the 2400 block of Symphony Oaks Drive west of Templeton at 2 p.m.

The fire was at 2 acres as of 2:15 p.m., Cal Fire said on social media. It grew to about 4 to 5 acres and was contained at about 2:45 p.m.

A vegetation fire was burning on Symphony Oaks Drive, located west of Templeton.

One structure and four panels were in the area, dispatchers said.

It was the second rural fire to spark on Friday.

Another fire burned 3.4 acres west of Paso Robles. It was contained and being mopped up by 12:45 p.m.
