Vegetation fire reported in hills near Paso Robles
Firefighters responded to a vegetation fire near Lake Nacimiento on Friday afternoon.
The fire sparked at 12:01 p.m. in the 8800 block of Chimney Rock Road west of Paso Robles and south of Lake Nacimiento near Adelaida, Cal Fire said on social media.
Scanner traffic initially reported the fire had the potential to grow to 10 acres, but it was contained at 3.4 acres total, Cal Fire said. No structures were threatened.
Cal Fire released air resources at 12:45 and continued mop-up with one engine and one dozer.
