An overturned big rig closed a Highway 101 off-ramp in San Miguel on Friday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s Traffic Incident Information Page, at around 8:44 a.m. the CHP received a report of a semi rollover on southbound Highway 101 at the Mission Street off-ramp.

The semi with its two trailers was the only vehicle involved in the crash, but it fully closed the off-ramp to traffic.

Tow trucks were called to the scene of the crash at around 8:51 a.m. to reopen the lane, though it was not immediately known when the crash would be cleared.

In a post on X, CHP’s Templeton office said the exit would be closed for several hours to clear the crash, with drivers advised to proceed to the 10th Street off-ramp for San Miguel.

In a following post on X, CHP’s Templeton office announced the exit had been cleared around 1:39 p.m.
