Multi-car crash blocks Highway 101 lanes, slows traffic through SLO
A multi-car crash was blocking both lanes of southbound Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo on Friday evening, slowing traffic through the area.
According to CHP’s traffic incident report page, the crash was reported just after 6:40 p.m. near the South Higuera Street ramp.
It appeared to involve three cars. One of the vehicles sustained major front-end damage and was blocking two lanes, according to the CHP page.
As of 6:50 p.m., traffic was backing up from South Higuera to nearly the Los Osos Valley Road off-ramp, according to Caltrans’ QuickMap.
