Hundreds lose electricity during outage in SLO. Here’s when the power could be back on

An unplanned power outage was impacting nearly 900 San Luis Obispo PG&E customers who were without electricity Sunday morning.

According to PG&E’s Outage Center, the outage was first reported in the Madonna Road and Laguna Lake area at 11:02 a.m. According to the map, the outages were unplanned.

According to the outage map, a PG&E team was evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections to make any necessary repairs.

According to the outage website, 861 customers were being impacted by the outage.

Power was expected to be restored by 4:15 p.m. this afternoon.
