Two power outages in northern San Luis Obispo County knocked out electricity to around 2,500 PG&E customers Thursday afternoon.

At 3:49 p.m. and 3:51 p.m., 2,517 customers west of Paso Robles along Highway 46 lost power, extending out to Lake Nacimiento, according to PG&E’s Outage Center.

According to PG&E’s outage map, the outages were unplanned, and teams were evaluating the system to identify damaged sections and make repairs.

Power was expected to be restored to customers along Highway 46 by around 6:15 p.m., though customers further south from the road may not see repairs until around 8:45 p.m., according to the map.
