Driver crashes into SLO house after suffering medical emergency

A driver who suffered a medical emergency while at the wheel crashed into a San Luis Obispo home Monday morning.

According to a post on X by the San Luis Obispo Police Department, at around 11:41 a.m., a driver suffered some kind of health-related incident and hit the corner of a house on the corner of Broad Street and Upham Street.

The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries, according to the department’s post.

Drugs and alcohol were not suspected to be a factor in the incident, according to the post.
