Storm-damaged Halcyon Road to be repaired next week. Here’s when it should reopen
Damaged Halcyon Road will be repaired next week and is expected to be reopened by Friday, according to a news release from San Luis Obispo County Public Works.
The road, which runs from Arroyo Grande up to the Nipomo Mesa, was closed last week after heavy rains caused a section of asphalt to collapse.
Public Works will begin repairs on Monday, as the weather permits, according to the release.
In order to prevent future flooding and erosion, a curb will be installed along with the repairs to the asphalt and embankment.
