More than 1,000 PG&E customers without power in SLO

Power outage

More than 1,000 PG&E customers in southern San Luis Obispo were without electricity on Thursday morning due to a power outage.

The outage was affecting 1,125 customers in the area north of Tank Farm Road and surrounding South Higuera Street as of 8:50 a.m., according to the PG&E outage map.

The cause of the outage is unknown, PG&E said.

The utility company did not provide an estimate for when power will be restored.
