The Highway 101 on-ramp at Taft Street in San Luis Obispo was closed Sunday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a power pole, according to police.

Drugs and alcohol were not involved in the crash, the San Luis Obispo Police Department said, and the driver was being treated for minor injuries.

Officers requested “hard closures” at California and Taft streets at 1:25 p.m., according to scanner traffic.

The closure was expected to last for a few hours, according to a tweet by the San Luis Obispo Police Department.

Drivers were told to avoid the area.
