4-vehicle crash blocks southbound traffic on Highway 41

Four vehicles were involved in a crash at 11:42 a.m. on Highway 41 between Atascadero and Morro Bay, according to the California Highway Patrol’s incident information page.

The traffic collision near Cerro Alto Road blocked the southbound lane heading toward Morro Bay, CHP’s incident information page said, bringing traffic to a stop.

Ambulances have been dispatched, according to the public safety radio channel, and one of the vehicle’s windshield was “broken out” in the collision.
