Update: Second power outage strikes SLO PG&E customers
Update 3:15 p.m.:
By 3:15 p.m. Friday, power had been restored to most of the Laguna Lake area in San Luis Obispo — leaving only 421 PG&E customers without electricity.
A second power outage struck the Laguna Lake neighborhood at about 2 p.m. Friday, causing a total of 2,325 PG&E customers to lose power, the utility company said.
PG&E has since restored power to 1,904 of those customers.
PG&E is still investigating the cause of the original outage, it said.
Update 12:10 p.m.:
By noon, power was restored to more than half of the San Luis Obispo customers who lost electricity Friday morning, according to PG&E.
A total of 895 customers were still without power in the Laguna Lake Park area of San Luis Obispo. Power should be restored by 1 p.m., the utility company said.
PG&E is still investigating the cause of the outage.
This area has lost power at least four times during the past two weeks.

More than 2,000 PG&E customers in San Luis Obispo were without electricity Friday morning due to an outage.
A total of 2,325 customers lost power around 9:30 a.m., according to PG&E’s website.
The power outage was concentrated in the Laguna Lake Park area, including customers on Madonna Road and Los Osos Valley Road, PG&E said.
Power was scheduled to be restored by 1 p.m., the utility company said.
PG&E is investigating the cause of the power outage.
