Nearly 5,300 without power in 2 areas of SLO County
Nearly 1,800 customers in Atascadero and 3,500 in Five Cities are without power Tuesday as of 11:20 a.m., according to the PG&E outage map.
The outage in the Five Cities area began around 8:20 a.m. and is expected to last until 3:30 p.m. for 3,439 customers.
The power went out in Atascadero around 9 a.m. for 1,795 customers. It is estimated to be restored around 3 p.m.
Crews are currently assessing the cause in both locations.
