Update, 6:40 p.m.:

San Luis Obispo City Fire Department spokesperson James Blattler said firefighters responded to a grease fire contained to a cooking pot.

“Truck 1 was able to handle the incident and all other resources were canceled prior to arrival,” Blattler said in an email to the Tribune.

The fire was resolved at 5:50 p.m., according to the PulsePoint emergency response app.

Firefighters are responding to a structure fire in downtown San Luis Obispo, according to emergency response app PulsePoint.

San Luis Obispo City Fire Department reported the structure fire at 857 Higuera St. at 4:03 p.m.
