Crews responding to vegetation fire outside Shandon
Update 2:30 p.m.:
A survey of the burn area showed the fire was approximately 32 acres and is now 75% contained, Cal Fire says.
Firefighters will remain at the scene for a few more hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Cal Fire quickly stopped a vegetation fire burning outside of Shandon on Sunday morning.
A fire was reported around around 11 a.m. in the area of San Juan and Gillis Canyon roads. When crews arrived on scene, the blaze was at about 10 acres and air attack was brought in to fight its spread.
Forward progress on the fire was stopped at 25 acres around noon, and as of early Sunday afternoon crews were still working to the contain the fire.
It was one of several fires to break out over the weekend in San Luis Obispo County.
The largest was a fire late Saturday night that grew to between 400 and 450 acres before it was stopped in the California Valley area near Soda Lake Road.
