One person dead in fatal car crash in Paso Robles
Paso Robles police are investigating a fatal car crash in the city Thursday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post from the Paso Robles Police Department, emergency personnel responded to an injury traffic collision near the intersection of Niblick Road and Spring Street around 2:50 p.m.
When they got there, officers found a woman trapped inside the vehicle, according to police. She was removed from the car and transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo. The driver of the other involved vehicle sustained injuries as well.
A short time later, the department was informed the woman had died from her injuries.
Police say it is unclear at this time if alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor.
The Police Department is investigating the crash and is asking for any witnesses to contact the department with information at 805-237-6464.
