‘Persons trapped’ after vehicle drives into building in Los Osos, Cal Fire says

A vehicle drove into a building in Los Osos, trapping at least one person inside Thursday morning, Cal Fire said via Twitter.

Around 11 a.m., Cal Fire tweeted that a vehicle went into a structure in the 1700 block of Fifth Street in Los Osos “with persons trapped.”

Emergency crews responded and the driver of the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries, a Cal Fire spokesman said.

The impact of the vehicle caused only minor damage to to the property, and the scene was cleared within the hour.
