SLO County sheriff searching for missing boy who ran away from rural Paso Robles home
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a missing 12-year-old boy who ran away from the Jardine area on the outskirts of Paso Robles.
Anthony Jauregui was last seen walking away from his home at around 7 p.m. Monday with no money or phone, according to the news release.
Deputies immediately began a search for Jauregui and a reverse-911 call went out to residents in the area, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Then members of the Sheriff’s Office’s Search and Rescue Team began looking for the child.
Jauregui is described as a Hispanic minor with short black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet, 5 inches, tall and weighs 120 pounds, the release said.
Jauregui was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and white Vans sneakers, according to the release.
The Sheriff’s Office does not suspect foul play in his disappearance, according to the release.
