2.2-magnitude quake rattles San Simeon area
A 2.2-magnitude earthquake rattled the San Simeon area Wednesday morning.
The quake was reported about seven miles northeast of the community near Hearst Castle along California’s Central Coast, according to the U.S. Geological Survey website.
The tremor occurred at 11:03 a.m.
On Nov. 7, a 2.3-magnitude quake occurred in roughly the same area, rattling an area nine miles northeast of San Simeon at 10:56 a.m. that day.
