1 arrested after 2 people injured in Cal Poly hit-and-run

Update, 12:33 p.m.:

Two people, an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, were taken to a nearby hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries, Matt Lazier, Cal Poly director of media relations, said in an email statement.

Police investigated and found Corban B. Kinloch, 20, Lazier said. Kinloch was reportedly taken to the San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of hit-and-run.

As of publication, Kinloch was not listed in custody, according to the San Luis Obispo County Jail website.

No other information is available at this time.

Two people were hospitalized with moderate injuries after a possible hit-and-run on Saturday, according to Matt Lazier, Cal Poly’s director of media relations.

Cal Poly Police received a call on Saturday evening of an accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle near the Performing Arts Center, Lazier said.

No further information was released.
