Turri Road closed after car crashes into power pole near South Bay Boulevard

Turri Road was closed Tuesday afternoon after a car crash near South Bay Boulevard knocked a power pole and lines onto the roadway, Cal Fire reports.

At about 1:45 p.m., a single vehicle with two occupants crashed into a power pole and came to rest off the road, according to scanner traffic. Neither person was injured.

Firefighters were called off as PG&E crews responded to the scene.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area if possible.
