The Pismo Beach Police Association held its 34th annual community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Pismo on Wednesday.

The annual dinner serves more than 3,000 meals to community members including the homeless, homebound and others wishing to take part in the traditional meal.

Many volunteers, including those from Camp Fire Central Coast of California, helped make the holiday event a success. Takeout meals were prepared, and those that ate at the Memorial Hall were treated to live music.
