Cal Fire investigates cause of RV fire that burned multiple vehicles in Paso Robles area

Cal Fire SLO is investigating the cause of an RV Fire that burned multiple vehicles in Whitley Gardens near Paso Robles on Wednesday night.

The fire was reported at the corner of Grace Drive and Ross Drive around 8:40 p.m. It was fully contained around 10:30 p.m., according to Cal Fire, which was assisting the Paso Robles Fire Department.

No one was injured in the fire, Cal Fire public information officer Adan Orozco said. However, it destroyed three RVs and one vehicle, damaged two additional vehicles, and partially burned a shed.

According to Cal Fire, the fire did not spread to the neighboring property due to good defensible space between the two.

Units remained on the scene to mop of the fire for about two hours. The Red Cross also responded to the scene to help relocate the displaced person who owned the burned property.

Orozco said firefighters returned to the scene Thursday morning to investigate the cause in the daylight.
