SLO County charcuterie business to open first storefront location. Where?
Building charcuterie boards had been a hobby for years for mother-and-daughter duo Kim and Miranda Esparza.
But it wasn’t until they built a grazing table for a family member’s bridal shower in June 2023, when guests kept asking who they hired, that they realized they might have a business on their hands.
Since then, they’ve crafted cups, boards and massive tables colorfully packed with meats, cheeses, vegetables and other bite-sized snacks for events around SLO County — and they’re now expanding their offerings with a new storefront location in the Arroyo Grande Village.
The store will offer customizable charcuterie boards and boxes, and will include a cheese and eventually deli meat shop, the duo told The Tribune.
They said they’re looking forward to being able to better serve the community and collaborate with other local businesses with their storefront.
“Having a storefront is always so much easier,” Kim said. “Being able to host events in our space, you know, we can have like painting classes and charcuterie workshops and different things that we’ll be able to do now that we have a space.”

The Graze shop will be located at 127 E. Branch St. in Arroyo Grande — sharing the space with Something Bridal Boutique, the current business at that location.
Graze has already had a partnership with the boutique, offering charcuterie to the bridal parties that come into the shop.
“We’ve been doing that for the last three years, but now we’ll be in the same space, so her brides can also enjoy the build-your-own charcuterie when they’re in here with their friends, trying on their dresses,” Kim told The Tribune.
Beyond the bridal offerings, the store will also sell build-your-own charcuterie boards or boxes to anyone who enters the storefront, Kim said.
In addition, they plan on having a cheese case with items for sale, and eventually a case with deli meats as well.
The pair told The Tribune the process for getting a storefront has been in the works for a while.
They had planned on opening up in mid-August 2025, according to an Instagram post, but municipal permitting processes have delayed the opening.
“We’ve been here paying rent, just going through the process with the county and the city,” Kim said. “There’s never been food in here before, so it’s been — there’s been a lot of hurdles.”
They’ve been working to update plumbing, add sinks and refrigeration and replace the flooring to ensure the space is food-safe and ready for visitors.
While they still don’t have a concrete opening date, they said they’re now aiming for the end of February or early March.
Once open, they hope to be a gathering place where they can work with other local businesses to carry their products or host combined events, Miranda said.
Ultimately, Kim said they hope the shop will be a “fun place to hang out” for community members and tourists alike.
