4 SLO County businesses are among fastest-growing in United States. See where they rank
Four San Luis Obispo County businesses are among the fastest-growing companies in the United States, according to Inc. magazine’s latest list.
The online magazine releases an annual list, known as the Inc. 5000, that ranks the fastest-growing private businesses in the nation.
According to Inc., this year’s honorees reported a median growth of 208% year-over-year and a total combined revenue of $317 billion, in addition to adding more than 874,000 jobs.
Of the 5,000 businesses honored this year, 3,168 were repeat honorees. A total of 498 newly founded businesses were among those making their first appearances on the list.
San Luis Obispo County often has several businesses on the list, and this year was no exception.
BenchStrength Coaching, HiView Solutions, Precision Construction Services and Estate 360 Estate Sales & Downsizing all made the Inc. list for 2024, reporting three-year growth rates of between 214% and 471%.
Here is more about each of those businesses:

In its third consecutive appearance on the list, HiVew Solutions was ranked as the second-fastest growing of any San Luis Obispo County business.
With a reported three-year growth of 331%, the company ranked No. 1,564 on the overall list.
According to a news release, HiView is a business products and services company that specializes in Google Workspace software. HiView supports organizations across the private and public sectors, delivering services in both English and Spanish.
“We’re honored to make the list for the third time,” co-founder Miles Hischier said in the release. “We have a strong remote team working from San Luis Obispo; Orlando, Florida; and El Salvador, who all work tirelessly to support our clients. I work daily from our office downtown at the Cal Poly Center for Entrepreneurship and welcome anyone to drop by to say, ‘Hello.’”
According to the release, the company has spent recent years focusing on developing its own software products that work with Google Workspace and “aim to make life easier for Workspace IT administrators.”
In the release, co-founder Narjit Patel said the team “is excited about our focus on building our own tools and products.”
Precision Construction Services

Another repeat honoree, Precision Construction Services also made its third consecutive appearance on the Inc. 5000 list this year, coming in at No. 1,635.
With a three-year growth rate of 318%, the company was also recognized as the fastest-growing construction firm in the San Luis Obispo area, according to a Precision news release.
“When we started out 11 years ago, the idea of making the Inc. 5000 was an exciting idea — we never imagined making the list three years in a row,” Karl Vaillancourt, one of Precision’s three principals, said in the release. “Our ability to maintain this pace of growth is a testament to our amazing team and all the work they’ve put into making our company effective, dynamic and scalable.”
The company is owned by Vaillancourt, Jared Malapit and Erik Wright.
Precision has been a part of a number of notable construction projects around the Central Coast, including building rocket launch pads at Vandenberg Space Force Base and amenities at the Pismo Preserve. It is currently working on renovations at Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant.
The recognition caps off a great year for the construction company.
In May, the Small Business Administration named the company as its 2024 Prime Contractor of the Year for the Pacific Region of the United States. Meanwhile, in July the company won the Pacific Coast Business Times’ Spirit of Small Business Award for its work at Vandenberg and contributions to the Central Coast community.
“The market has changed in many ways over the past few years, but our business model has been resilient enough to handle the pandemic and its knock-on effects,” Vaillancourt said in the release. “Growth, while generally a good thing, also presents its own challenges. Being able to navigate all of this and scale during this period is really worth celebrating.”
