SLO County deli and wine bar shuts doors after 10 years — but it won’t be empty for long
Willow — a combination market, deli and wine bar in Nipomo — has closed, according to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
“Time to close this chapter,” read the brief post. “Thank you for your patronage!”
Willow opened at 1050 Willow Road in Nipomo in August 2013.
Willow management did not respond to requests for comment on the closure as of Friday morning.
A sign posted on the shuttered restaurant’s door indicated the business has been bought by Central Coast Restaurant Group, which also owns Blast & Brew, Blast 825 Brewery and three Me-n-Ed’s pizzerias.
“Please visit one of our locations while we get to work on bringing the Central Coast the newest addition,” the sign read.
Community members took to the comments on the Facebook post to share their memories of Willow and express sadness about the closure.
“Willow was our local favorite since 2015 when we relocated here,” one person wrote. “Sad to see Willow Nipomo go. We will continue to support this establishment and local businesses.”
Another said Willow served their “favorite Brussels sprout salad ever.”
