Natural Healing Center opened the doors of its second San Luis Obispo County retail cannabis location on April 12.

The marijuana business, which also has stores in Grover Beach and Lemoore, launched at 495 Morro Bay Blvd. near the intersection with Napa Avenue.

The newly remodeled space will feature more than 1,500 items for sale.

That includes “medically focused, non-psychoactive products that don’t give the traditional ‘high’ that cannabis is known for to suit customers of all consumption needs,” Natural Healing Center said in a news release.

“Part of NHC’s vision as a company is operating high-end, world-class dispensaries that provide a comfortable and classy atmosphere and friendly service,” the business said in the release.

The business is Morro Bay’s second retail marijuana store to open after Perfect Union launched in October 2020.

“Our Morro Bay store will continue this tradition while partnering with the city to provide substantial community benefits including new local jobs and tax revenue,” Joe Armendariz, Natural Healing Center’s director of governmental affairs, said in the release.

Natural Healing Center plans to open two more storefronts before the end of 2021, bringing the total to five.

The Grover Beach-based company slated to open new locations in San Luis Obispo and Turlock.

Natural Healing Center is headed by Helios Dayspring, a Morro Bay High School graduate.
