Malu the border collie mix is a playful ‘love bug’ looking for a new home
Malu the border collie mix is a love bug who appreciates cuddles.
The 3-year-old dog’s life philosophy appears to be “An honest heart and a positive attitude is the best way to make lifelong friends,” and he takes these truths to heart.
According to his previous owner, Malu is good with children of all ages and dogs of all sizes. He also likes to go to the beach, where one of his favorite pastimes is “trying to eat waves.”
Malu knows the commands “sit” and “shake,” especially when treats are involved.
He also walks well on a leash though his enthusiasm for squirrels or opportunities to excavate gopher holes can cause him to forget his manners.
Basically, Malu is a loving goofball who wants to please.
Sadly, Malu could no longer stay with his family because his passion for pursuit prevented him from mastering a golden rule of ranch life — chase rodents to your heart’s content but not livestock.
Now homeless, Malu is looking for his match: someone who wants to inject some fun into their life with a new canine best friend. He’d love to be your buddy and continue to learn how to be his very best self.
Malu’s a good boy who longs to find a forever home with a loving family looking for a sunny canine companion.
