Which is the best coffee shop in SLO County? Vote for your favorite
It’s clear to us that San Luis Obispo County residents take their coffee piping hot. Tribune readers voted more than 14,000 times in our first-ever coffee shop poll!
These votes helped us winnow down our comprehensive list of local coffee shops from more than 40 to your top-10 favorites.
The two coffee shops that received the most votes so far were Skipper’s Brew in San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay and Kin Coffee in San Luis Obispo. Of the roughly 14,000 votes cast in round one of polling, these two popular coffee shops received a staggering 10,000 votes, combined.
But there were more than 4,000 votes cast for other coffee shops, and it was a close call narrowing the list down to a top 10.
Honorable mention goes to some of the county’s other favorite coffee shops who came just a little short of our top 10: Active, Linnaea’s Cafe, Nautical Bean and Scout Coffee Co. in San Luis Obispo, Red Dirt Coffee House in Arroyo Grande and Dark Nectar in Atascadero.
Now it’s time to pick Tribune readers’ favorite of them all.
Voting resets, and the the final round closes at midnight Sunday, Jan. 9. We will crown a winner shortly after. You can vote in this fun, unscientific poll as many times as you’d like by refreshing this page.
