There is nothing quite like pulling up a chair at your favorite local coffee shop and waiting for the barista to call your name.
The Tribune counted more than 40 coffee shops throughout San Luis Obispo County, and while we have cafes we’re partial to, we created a poll to find out which coffeehouse is the county’s top spot.
The criteria you use to select the best coffee shop is yours alone. Maybe you vote for Spearhead Coffee in Paso Robles because of their high-quality coffee roasts, or perhaps you love coffee and also love to bring your dog along, in which case Skipper’s Brew Coffee House has a warm cup for you and a puppacchino and some scratches for your furry friend.
Whether you live for the tranquility of a matcha latte in Linnaea’s garden, are a devotee of Scout’s coffees and baked goods, or enjoy sipping a cup of Joebella during your weekend stroll through the Paso Market Walk — now is the time to represent for your favorite spot.
Help us narrow down the county’s favorite spot by voting in our fun and entirely non-scientific poll. We’ll start with a large field of more than 40. From there, we’ll winnow the field down to 10 finalists to find out who is the favorite of them all.
Also, you can vote more than once, and you can pick up to four favorites in the first round. Make your selections and then submit your vote by clicking the button at the bottom of the poll.
Also, we included many locations here, but did we forget your favorite? Just let us know (email skassabian@thetribunenews.com) and we’ll add it to the field.
The first round of the poll closes on Dec. 27 so tell us, SLO County, how do you take your coffee (shop)?
