Ice Cube is coming to Santa Maria — along with these hip hop stars

Hip hop star Ice Cube is going “Straight Outta Compton” to the Central Coast.

The acclaimed actor, rapper and N.W.A. group member behind “It Was a Good Day,” “Check Yo Self” and “You Know How We Do It” will headline the Welcome to the 805 concert on Saturday in Santa Maria, according to show promoter 805 Concerts.

Ice Cube will perform with acts including Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Xzibit and Digital Underground at Elks Unocal Event Center, 4040 Highway 101 in Santa Maria. Locals will recognize that venue as the home of the Santa Maria Elks Rodeo.

Saturday’s show kicks off at 3 p.m., with doors opening at 1 p.m.

Tickets cost $80 to $100 apiece for general admission, or $205 to $230 for VIP seating.

Concertgoers willing to shell out $750 a pop can enjoy an “Ice Cube meet n greet package” that includes a photo with the rapper and “a personal 360 video,” according to the 805 Concerts website.
